All printing and advertising projects at Jas Advertising go through a comprehensive project management process from inception to completion. This process consists of five key phases:
Initiation – The initiation phase involves initial conversations with the client to understand their goals, objectives, target audience, budget and expected deliverables. Our project managers use this information to create a project charter that defines the scope as well as measures for success.
Planning – In the planning phase, our teams create detailed project plans and schedules. This involves breaking down the project into smaller tasks and setting timeframes for completion. Planning considers task dependencies, resource allocation, budgets, quality standards and risk management. Our project managers use tools like Gantt charts, calendars and checklists to track progress.
Execution – The execution phase is when the rubber meets the road. Our designers, printers and technicians get to work bringing the project plan to life. The project manager coordinates team members, materials and equipment needed to complete each task. To ensure quality, they review interim deliverables, manage changes and troubleshoot issues along the way.
Monitoring and Controlling – Throughout project execution, our managers continuously monitor progress to identify and address any variances from the plan. This ensures projects proceed on-time, within budget and meet specifications. Control processes also manage changes, risks and quality standards as needed.
Closure – Once the final product or service deliverable is complete, we transition into project closure. This phase involves assessing results to ensure all requirements are met, collecting client feedback, documenting lessons learned, reassigning team members and closing accounts.
